In 1642, King Louis XIII gave the seigneury of Les Baux to Honoré Premier, Prince of Monaco, to thank him for his policy in favour of the French crown.
During the French Revolution, the Monegasque family was dispossessed of the property, but the title of Marquis des Baux continued to be traditionally held by the hereditary Prince, now Prince Jacques.
Your guide will take you on a journey through the past that united the two rocks. He will take you on a journey through time to discover the traces left by the Monegasque Sovereigns.
